Meet the team!
Michelle:
Michelle is the director and senior stylist at Hairlistic, with 17 years of professional experience. Michelle is fully qualified with a NVQ level 2 & 3 in hairdressing.
Michelle is highly skilled in all aspects of unisex hairdressing and she loves that variety that it offers.
Michelle's favourite and expert services include; cutting restyles, big transformations and relaxing head massages.
Outside of work Michelle enjoys going to yoga retreats, nature and walking.
On her days off, she likes to spend as much time as possible with her 3 children and her grandaughter.
With a great passion for the environment and wellbeing, she excels herself in promoting healthy habits in the salon.
Kelsey:
Kelsey is our graduate stylist at Hairlistic, with 4 years of professional experience. Kelsey qualified in 2021 with her NVQ level 2 hairdressing qualification and she is currently nearing the end of her NVQ level 3 qualification.
Kelsey is an expert in blonding and balayage, with a real flare for getting the picture perfect look.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys going for bottomless brunch with her friends and family, eating out and taking her French bulldog, Marlo out for nature walks.
Kelsey has a passion for animals, travelling and seeing new things.

The name Hairlistic embraces a holistic awareness and approach to hair care, inner health and wellbeing. We believe in treating the hair, scalp and our bodies with products that are in tune with nature whilst caring for our planet.
Hairlistic is owned by Michelle Edwards who has been a hairdresser in the local area for over 15 years. Following her level 2 NVQ training in 2006 she was based at Sunrays in Kesgrave and then L&R Designs in Ipswich and before spending the last five years as a freelance hairdresser. She then went on to do her NVQ 3 level (city in guilds) at Alan D in Ipswich. Due to her increased client base and desire to have her own slice of hair heaven she finally decided to open a unique Eco friendly salon on Grange Farm in Kesgrave (between Ipswich and Woodbridge) in Suffolk.
Michelle and her team believe that in order to get the best out of your hair it has to be cut, coloured and cared for in tune with the client’s individual lifestyle and needs. Aftercare is key for you and your hair needs to ensure you get the best from your style and colour at home and in between salon visits. Our experts will give you advice and tips on how to do this, using the most up to date training and techniques to create your desired look.
The products and colours we choose adopt an holistic approach which is why you won’t find any parabens in our salon products. The salon also is run using environmentally friendly tools, appliances, energy and water systems, etc. We are supplier of vegan, sustainable and eco friendly range and B Corp company called Davines which compliments Hairlistic’s ethos to the highest level. The results are remarkable and extremely popular. A high percentage of this range is vegan and zero impact on the environment and we have taken it that one step further by offering our clients a refilling service with our 250ml Davines shampoos and conditioners at a fraction of the price. This has proven to be very popular indeed. If you have any hair or scalp imbalances we can help diagnose and treat accordingly in salon and prescribe the appropriate products for you to use at home. Michelle can also discuss in detail any wellbeing issues if this is something you would like to address. Although she does not claim to be a nutritionist she has a lot of knowledge on nutrition through personal findings and also through working in this field and for nutritional companies for many years. (always check with your doctor first) We guarantee our products and if they don’t suit you for any reason we will refund or exchange, no quibble. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
